The fees are as follows:
- 2 weeks -INR 6000
- 1 week 4000
You can choose to send your child for both weeks, or pay weekly as per your convenience.
Dates: Our Camp starts on the 22nd of April and ends on 3rd May 2024
Time:
- Batch 1: Aged 2 to 3 from 9 to 11 am
- Batch 2: Aged 4 to 7 from 11 to 1 PM
Based on our theme, your child will learn a variety of music and movement from across the world.
Using Folk and local songs from world culture, movement, hand clapping games, stories and art activities your child will discover the fundamentals of music:
- Rhythm
- Pitch
- Form
- Timbre
Some of the highlights will be: Vocalisation and voice types, high-low, fast-slow, start-stop, loud-soft, same different and many more fundamental building blocks of music.
Socially, they will learn how to:
- Lead and follow
- Listen, copy and follow instructions
- Wait their turn
- Peer to peer learning
- Discover, improvise and create their own musical ideas
All these concepts taught at Tāla serve as a precursor to formal music education, be it western, hindustani or Carnatic genres of music.
Yes, you can enrol for both weeks and you get a discounted rate for the same.
The break down is given in the summer camp fees.
We recommend that you send a healthy snack box and water bottle along with your child.
We put children in a batch that suits their skill and emotional level. Even though your child may grasp concepts faster, they will be best suited in an age appropriate batch.
Our teachers will be able to talk to you and help you understand this process better.
We have teachers, assistant teachers and support staff to ensure your child’s needs are taken care of.
The minimum registration is for one week (5 days).
We do not have the option to pay as you go for each class.
You can choose the number of weeks or which particular week/s you would like your child to join.
We understand your situation and are more than happy to work it out. Please let our admin know and we will give you the best offer so you can have all 3 join.

After the Summer Camp, we are looking to have a permanent set up and offer our yearly program in the evenings in Cooke Town.
We do have two centre running in Kothanur and OMBR layout if thats closer to you.
