Tāla Bass Xylophone

Tāla Bass Xylophones were developed after through research to optimise quality sound and resonance. The resonator box includes sound chambers and steps that are placed accurately to help produce a balanced and rich sound to its fullest. These features aid in producing a deep sound which is a necessary inclusion in your Orff ensemble. 

The bars and resonator boxes are made ranging from local to imported wood. The resonator boxes are made without nails or screws by using best quality birch wood that is glued to hold the box together. The joints are made such that they provide a sturdy structure and a well resonating integral sound chamber. 

Precision tuning by hand provide pitch perfect bars that can blend with all instruments in an ensemble. 1 bass xylophone includes 16 bars, c – c – a (with F# and Bb bars), and 1 pair of suitable mallets. Each bar has the note name on the top end for easy identification. 

There is a provisions to store the F# and Bb bars. A slot is also provided to keep the mallets safely. 

Flexible and durable rubber tubing retain the bars as they resonate while being played.
